In this action-packed outdoor workshop, young nature detectives (ages 12–14) will explore rivers, ponds, and woodlands in search of fascinating invertebrates. Using real fieldwork tools like nets, pitfall traps, and ID guides, they’ll uncover how these tiny creatures give us big clues about the health of our environment. From river sampling in waders to a land-based bug bioblitz, it’s a hands-on science adventure that reveals just how much life is hiding in plain sight.
