Future Textiles Youth Conference 2026: Full Circle
Youth Sustainability Conference 2026: Full Circle
We are delighted to invite S3–S6 pupils to attend the Youth Sustainability Conference 2026: Full Circle, taking place on Wednesday 4th November 2026 at Dumfries House Pavilion, delivered in collaboration with Fashion Council Germany.
This inspiring and interactive event will bring together young people, industry professionals and sustainability advocates for a day of learning, discussion and collaboration. The programme will feature engaging keynote speakers, thought-provoking panel discussions, and hands-on roundtable workshops, all designed to encourage critical thinking about the future of fashion.
Conference Theme: Full Circle
Fashion trends have always been cyclical, with styles regularly returning to popularity. However, these comebacks often drive new production and increased consumption. This year's theme, Full Circle, explores how the cyclical nature of fashion can instead support a more sustainable and circular future.
Through the conference, pupils will examine how practices such as reuse, resale, repair, upcycling, and rediscovering existing garments can help reduce waste and transform the way we engage with fashion.
Event Details
Venue: Dumfries House Pavilion
Date: Wednesday 4th November 2026
Arrival: 10:00am
Departure: 3:35pm
A light lunch will be provided for all pupils and school staff.
Pre-Conference Learning
To ensure pupils gain the maximum benefit from the conference, all attendees are asked to complete 1 hour and 30 minutes of online learning modules prior to the event. These modules will introduce key sustainability concepts and industry terminology, providing participants with the knowledge and confidence to fully engage in conference discussions and activities. Further details will be sent to schools once the booking is made.
Post-Conference Opportunity
Following the conference, pupils will have the option to complete an additional 40-minute online career awareness module, offering valuable insight into career pathways within sustainable fashion and related industries.
We look forward to welcoming the next generation of changemakers to an inspiring day of learning, innovation and action as we explore how fashion can come full circle towards a more sustainable future.
Please note: Places are limited and demand is expected to be high. Please only book places you expect to use and let us know as soon as possible if your plans change, so that we can offer released places to other schools.
