Farming & Rural Skills - Summer Workshop - Family Farm to Fuel Day

Family Farm to Fuel Day - Tuesday 14th July - 10am until 2pm - FREE to attend.

Join us for a fun-filled day of discovery at the MacRobert Farming & Rural Skills Centre, Dumfries House, and explore the journey of food from farm to fork!

Designed for families with children aged 8 years and over, this free event will give you the chance to learn where your food comes from through a hands-on farm experience. Enjoy a guided farm tour, take part in a family cook-along session with a QMS (Quality Meat Scotland) Ambassador, then burn off some energy with a fun outdoor activity (weather permitting).

Whether you're curious about farming, love cooking together as a family, or simply want to enjoy a day out with a difference, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Come along and discover how food makes its journey from the field to your plate!
