6 Fields 1 Future: Ayrshire Farmers Project Introduction

The future of farming will be shaped by the people who farm the land.
"6 Fields 1 Future" is a new King’s Foundation project bringing together Ayrshire farmers to explore how we can build farming systems that work for both the farm business and the environment — putting profit alongside nature.
We are looking to work with six core farms, supported by a wider network of satellite farms, to test, learn and develop approaches that are practical, evidence-based and relevant to real farming businesses.
The project will be underpinned by detailed research and data, helping farmers understand what is happening on their farms and providing evidence to support better decision-making.
Join us on the 10th of September to find out more about the project, hear what we are proposing and discuss how farmers can get involved.
We are inviting Ayrshire farmers to register their interest in joining either the six core farms or the wider satellite farm network.
A light supper will be served at this event.
